MEET SADIE

Sadie is a sweet rescue girl from Dogs Landing House who is currently training with us and will be ready for placement beginning of June!

Sadie came from a difficult background and was unfortunately abused by a previous trainer/owner, so she’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary. Since coming into our program, she’s been making steady progress building confidence, learning structure, and starting to truly relax and enjoy life again.

A brown dog lying on the ground, looking up at a person standing nearby. The dog is wearing a collar that reads 'SHE'S IN TRAINING'. The person's legs and feet are visible, wearing blue jeans and sneakers, standing on a gravel surface.

She is dog friendly overall, but can be selective with some female dogs or overly rude/pushy dogs. Because of her history, she can occasionally struggle with resource guarding, so she would do best in a home with children over 12 years old and owners committed to continuing her training and confidence-building journey.

Sadie is incredibly loving, smart, and wants so badly to fully trust people again. She still has a ways to go, but she’s already come such a long way and deserves a patient, understanding home that will continue helping her grow.

We donated her training program because we truly believe this girl deserves her second chance. Ongoing support will be provided to any foster or adopter!
