OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

At Ashley’s K9 Training we are COMPLETE dog trainers. We take a balanced, reinforcement-based approach to training. Positive reinforcement is always the foundation, while also teaching dogs clear boundaries and how to respond appropriately in real-world situations.

Our training is built on consistency, motivation, communication, and clarity. Dogs are taught what is expected of them, rewarded for the right choices, and guided through unwanted behaviors in a fair and dog-appropriate way. The result is a dog that is confident, reliable, and easy to live with at home and in public.

With experience ranging from family companions to advanced behavior cases and service dogs, we understand that no two dogs or owners are the same. Every training plan is customized based on your dog’s temperament, learning style, and your specific goals.

We utilize a variety of tools and techniques when appropriate, always choosing what best supports the dog while ensuring owners feel confident, informed, and supported throughout the process. CONSULTATION

Before we start any training services, I require a virtual or in-person consultation/mini lesson. During this session, we’ll go over your dog’s history, talk through your goals, evaluate where they’re currently at, and even get started on a few things during the session.

PICK YOUR PROGRAM

I’ll guide you toward the program that will get you the best results. Whether it’s private lessons, day training, or a board and train, we’ll select the right fit for your dog and your goals. Once we’ve reviewed your options, we’ll move forward with the program that best aligns with your needs.
