When your dog stays with me, they become part of my daily life and routine.

Boarding takes place in my home on a couple of acres, where dogs are treated as one of my own. They’ll get plenty of love and attention, and, if appropriate, enjoy off-leash adventures, structured play, and time to explore.

Your dog’s stay isn’t just about supervision. I provide a structured, balanced routine that includes exercise, mental stimulation, and proper rest, so your dog returns home happy, fulfilled, and well cared for.

Safety is always a top priority, and all dogs are cared for based on their individual needs.

Unlike other dog training programs we offer a guarantee. We are so confident that you will love our results that we guarantee it!

Upon completion of your Board and Train Pet Program, if the results aren’t where we want them to be, we will keep working with you, at no additional cost.

Your dog will stay in our home for a minimum of two weeks and be fully immersed in a structured, real-life training environment. Our Puppy Starter Program is designed specifically for young, developing dogs to build strong foundations early and set them up for long-term success both in the home and out in the real world.

Training is incorporated into your puppy’s daily routine through age-appropriate sessions, play, and real-life exposure. We focus on essentials such as crate training, manners, intro to obedience (sit, down, come, place), leash introduction, socialization, confidence building, and appropriate play skills.

This program is designed to guide your puppy through critical developmental stages, helping prevent common problem behaviors before they start. We emphasize creating a calm, confident mindset while teaching your puppy how to make good choices and respond clearly to guidance.

As a results-based program, we work at your puppy’s pace to ensure they are progressing appropriately for their age without overwhelming them. The goal is not perfection, but a strong, reliable foundation you can continue building on at home.

You’ll receive regular updates and guidance throughout the program, along with clear next steps so you feel confident maintaining and continuing your puppy’s training after they return home.

PUPPY STARTER BOARD + TRAIN PROGRAM

    • This program includes a minimum two week stay in our home, where your dog will receive hands-on, structured training. It also includes five private lessons designed to set you up for long-term success, where we will guide you through how to properly handle your dog and maintain their training in your home.

    • Your puppy will begin learning foundational obedience including commands such as sit, down, come, place, and early leash work, with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and age-appropriate expectations.

    • Training includes crate training, leash introduction, impulse control, and overall manners within the home. Your puppy will also be gradually introduced to new environments, sounds, surfaces, and experiences to build confidence and stability.

    • We focus heavily on proper socialization, appropriate play, and teaching your puppy how to engage calmly with people, other dogs, and the world around them.

    • Emphasis is placed on building a confident, neutral mindset and preventing common problem behaviors before they develop, setting the stage for long-term success.

    • Communication is a key part of your dog’s success. You will work directly with Ashley throughout the program with access via phone, email, and text. Progress updates will be provided so you know how your dog is doing and what to expect next.

    • A customized training equipment package is included with your program. Each dog is set up with the tools needed for clear communication and long-term success, such as a place bed, harness, collar, leash, or other training items. you will be shown exactly how to use each item so you feel confident continuing the training at home.

    • Priority boarding is available after your dog returns home and is reserved exclusively for clients who have completed a training program with Ashley’s K9 Training.

    • Refresher training days are also available to our alumni if you ever feel like you or your dog need a tune-up.

SILVER PET BOARD + TRAIN PROGRAM

Your dog will stay in our home for a minimum of two weeks and be fully immersed in a structured, real-life training environment. The Silver Pet Board and Train Program is designed to build a solid foundation in obedience, manners, and everyday reliability.

Training is incorporated throughout your dog’s daily routine, not just in sessions, so they learn how to consistently apply their training in real-world situations. We focus on skills such as leash manners, place, recall, impulse control, and overall behavior in and outside of the home.

This program is results-based, meaning the focus is on achieving reliable, lasting behaviors rather than simply completing a set amount of time. We work at your dog’s pace to ensure they are fully prepared and confident before returning home.

You will receive regular updates throughout the program and an estimated timeline for completion.

    • This program includes a minimum two week stay in our home, where your dog will receive hands-on, structured training. Your dog will stay in our home for a minimum of four weeks and be fully immersed in a structured, real-life training environment. The Gold Pet Board and Train Program is designed to take your dog beyond the basics and create a high level of obedience, reliability, and real-world performance.

Training is fully integrated into your dog’s daily routine, allowing them to consistently apply their skills in a variety of environments and situations. In addition to foundational obedience, this program focuses on advanced training, off-leash reliability, and increased expectations both in and outside of the home.

This program is results-based, meaning the focus is on achieving a high level of consistency and reliability rather than simply completing a set amount of time. We work at your dog’s pace to ensure they are confident, responsive, and fully prepared before returning home.

    • It also includes unlimited lifetime pet private lessons to support your long-term success. We will guide you through proper handling, maintaining your dog’s training, and applying everything within your home and daily life.

    • Your dog will be trained in both foundational and advanced obedience, including heel, sit, down, come, stay, and place, with a focus on precision, responsiveness, and reliability.

    • This program moves beyond on-leash work into off-leash control, advanced obedience expectations, and consistent performance under higher levels of distraction. We build strong engagement and accountability so your dog can confidently respond in real-world situations.

    • Training includes leash manners, impulse control, recall, and overall behavior in the home and public settings. Your dog will be exposed to a variety of environments to strengthen confidence and ensure consistency outside of a training setting.

    • We incorporate structured socialization, confidence building, and relaxation work, including the ability to settle calmly and remain neutral around distractions.

    • Any problem behaviors discussed during your consultation are also addressed to create a well-mannered, dependable, and easy-to-live-with dog.

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION BOARD + TRAIN PROGRAM

This program is designed for dogs who need more than basic obedience, especially those struggling with behaviors such as reactivity, aggression, anxiety, OCD behaviors, etc. 

At Ashley’s K9 Training, we do not believe in quick fixes. True behavior change comes from understanding the full picture including your dog’s history, temperament, environment, genetics, and the underlying cause of the behavior. From there, we create a structured, individualized training plan tailored specifically to your dog.

Your dog will live in our home for a minimum of 7 weeks, where they are immersed in a consistent, structured environment that promotes clarity, confidence, and accountability. This is not a high pressure boot camp setting. Instead, we focus on building lasting habits through real life training at a pace that sets your dog up for success.

Because of the nature of behavior modification, this program is results driven rather than time driven. Some dogs require more time to fully work through behaviors, and we prioritize doing the job right over rushing the process.

Throughout your dog’s stay, you will receive updates on their progress along with guidance along the way. Once your dog is ready to go home, we shift our focus to you, making sure you feel confident, prepared, and fully equipped to maintain and build on your dog’s training in your everyday life.
